Overview:This Turkish archipelago used to be the holiday destination of choice for the rich and famous. And with stunning Greek Orthodox monasteries, wooden houses, beautiful unspoiled forests, and gorgeous beaches—it’s hard not to see why. Princes’ Islands, or Adalar, is made up of nine small, mostly car-free, islands and is known for its horse-drawn carriages, reminiscent of a time gone by. Only four of the nine islands are inhabited, with Buyukada and Heybeliada being the largest.
